She studied Art History and Slavic languages at the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), the Moscow State University and the Leningrad State University (Russia). Since 1991, she realized numerous exhibition projects and published numerous accompanying exhibition catalogues. Her texts appeared in various periodicals and catalogues. Currently she works as the head of the Video-Forum and managing director of Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, Berlin. Her recent projects include: Ira Schneider: mysteries in reality, NBK (2006); Maryam Jafri. Costume Party: Colony + Native, NBK (2006); displaced. Interactions/Interventions in public space, Berlin/NBK + relations, (2005); Videoartweek, NBK (2005); Matthias Müller - Album, NBK (2004). Aleksandra SekulićSince 2005 program editor of Academic Film Center of the Students’ City Cultural Center in Belgrade, which deals with production, distribution, archiving and presentation of film and video production. Program editor of the international festival of new film and video Alternative film/video and coordinator of the European Animated Film Festival Balkanima, both organized by AFC SCCC. Since 2001. cooperate with the group Kosmoplovci from Belgrade. From 2000 to 2003, she was a member of Low-Fi Video organization (presentations of Low-Fi Video movement) and Punctum for Art Experiment (film Everything stopped, only children keep growing). Initiated and organized several video and new media programs between 2002 and 2004 (Aksioma Tour in the Youth Center of Belgrade in 2004, Andrey Velikanov in National Library of Serbia, video programs on April Meetings 2002 in SKC, Belgrade, Video Portrays series in Pančevo in 2002, etc). Dirk DeblauweBorn in 1974 in Kortrijk, Belgium. Got a Master in Art Sciences at Ghent University. Co-founder and editor of the digital cultural magazine http://www.urbanmag.be, a project that plays with different possible formats of internet journalism. Worked at Kunsthalle Lophem. Member of the board of (K-RAA-K)3, a platform, label and concert organiser for adventurous music. Curates exhibitions and screenings, writes essays for catalogues and periodicals. Is currently a freelance graphic designer and the artistic coordinator of Courtisane, organisation for audiovisual arts, which organises the Courtisane Festival for short film, video and new media at arts centre Vooruit, Ghent. |
