The Miss you Francis video is made as a tribute to the great painter Francis Bacon and his ‘Screaming Pope’ series. I tried to be as accurate as I could be, colourwise, through the video technique. I wanted to re-discover the distortion of the painter’s unique brush stroke, but more than anything I wanted to re-discover the urgency with which Bacon seemed to have created his work.
