The Japan Media Arts Festival has been an annual event since 1997. Its aim is to promote the creation and development of media arts. The Festival highlights creative works of art, entertainment, animation, and manga. At the same time, it also presents a broad range of creative activities. Many works have submitted from over 40 nations and regions.
12th Japan Media Arts Festival will be held from February 4th to 15th, 2009 in Tokyo Japan.
