Kim Puric
Mayodi – A very sensual man, 7:40 min, Stereo, France, 2015
Kim Puric is achieving her BFA at Eicar. She is originally from Bosnia but she moved to Paris for her studies. Her documentary, Mayodi, got the prize for Best Editing at the Eicar Annual Cinematheque Screening in 2015. She is doing her thesis film about a mental institution during a time of war.
Mayodi is a bellydancer from Morocco who has been struggling all of his life for acceptance as an Arab male bellydancer. He explains that the future of Oriental dancing is not in the Arab countries due to the state of mind these countries are facing now.
EICAR
The International Film and Television School of Paris, was founded in 1972. The School has developed over the years to become a major European film and television school in filmmaking both in English and French.
