Igor Kekeljević

Venus of Jale, 4:56 min, Stereo, Serbia, 2016

Born in Novi Sad in 1979. He created 4 animated films: “The Seed” (2002), “Robot Sima” (2013), “Clockman” (2013) and “Venus of Jale” (2016). Currently, he is a Teaching Assistant at the Animation in Engineering studies, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad.

Animated short “Venus of Jale” was inspired by sculptures by Ljubodrag Janković Jale, recognized Serbian fine artists, former professor of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. His sculptures display figures of women, reduced into a composition of harmonic shapes in space.
