Living Forms, 3:10 min, Color, Mono, Portugal, 2017

Ana Brotas and Xavier Ovídio are interdisciplinary Portuguese artists which studied different areas, respectively Audiovisual Communication and Painting. Having different areas of expertise has led to an exploration of a wide range of mediums and techniques crossing boundaries between disciplines.

Living Forms is the result of erasing personal identity in public spaces. The common passerby is therefore an ambiguous body that inhabits a specific time frame in daily life situations. By removing private connotations the spectator is allowed to create a new reality of the public realm.
