Traces of The Great War, 2:02 min, Color, Stereo, Serbia, 2018

Cinematography student, born in Belgrade in 1996. Spent my childhood in Lisbon, Portugal. Started making short films in sixth grade. Haven’t stopped since.

World War I troops were the first to be diagnosed with shell shock, an injury still wreaking havoc.

The short video represents a broken Serbian soldier coming home for the first time after the liberation of Belgrade. After seeing what is left of his home, he starts to fall apart.
