Ann Oren is a visual artist and filmmaker. Her work explores performativity and fantasy in everyday life, with characters existing in the liminal space between performers and audience, with which she investigates collective desire and legends from the history of literature, theater and cinema.

A foley artist creates sounds for a film starring a dressage horse and dissolves into their own imitation. Shot on 16mm film, PASSAGE is a sensual homage to the origin of cinema, featuring the queer performer Simon(e) Jaikiriuma Paetau.
