Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka

Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka is a curator and producer specializing in media art and interdisciplinary projects. She co-organized Poland’s first media art festival and has co-curated every WRO Media Art Biennale since 1995 till 2022, one of Europe’s leading media art forums. A core team member of the WRO Art Center since its founding in 2008, she has led and co-created numerous international projects in Finland, Ukraine, Israel, Sweden, Japan, and Germany.

Her curatorial highlights include the Driving Media exhibition by Nam June Paik (2008–2009, in collaboration with Jochen Saueracker), the reversible//irreversible//presenceseries (2016–2017), the extensive Japanese media art exhibition at WRO 2019, and her role as curatorial director of media art at the 2020 edition of Sapporo International Art Festival titled Of Roots and Clouds. In 2022, she guest-curated the POCHEN Biennale in Chemnitz under the title The (New) Measurement of the World.

Currently based in Chemnitz, she is curating #3000Garagen, a flagship participatory project for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. The project explores East German garage culture through social interactions and contemporary art.
