Intimate Strangers, 05:38 min, B&W, Stereo, Spain, 2026
In a process of co-creation between humans and artificial intelligences, an obsessive search moves through images, faces, and fragments of unstable realities. Each Discovery reveals new visual layers that emerge and vanish before they can be fully retained by the gaze. The piece explores the tensión between desire and los, fascination and estrangement, within a continuous game of revelations where curiosity endlessly fuels the need to keep looking at what may never be completely understood.
Kenneth Russo is a visual artist and researcher exploring generative artificial intelligence through research-creation. His work investigates archives, audiovisual heritage and visual culture as spaces for critical experimentation, developing films and installations presented internationally at festivals, exhibitions and artistic research platforms.
