In a frozen dystopia where humanity has devolved into stone-headed statues, the last human family sacrifices their dancer daughter in a silent, macabre feast. The crime condemns the parents to an eternity of stone, but awakens the daughter for a mythic resurrection from the heart of nature.
Mohammad Hasani is an Iranian filmmaker and director working in experimental, short, and documentary cinema. His films have been selected in over 200 international film festivals and have received more than 20 awards.
