Szilard Antal

Silard Antal (born in 1975 in Novi Sad) is a Serbian film and audiovisual director, university professor, and researcher. He graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and earned his Master’s degree with a thesis entitled “Techniques and Management in Applied Arts.” He obtained his PhD in 2013.

Antal is a full professor of Directing in Audiovisual Media at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad, where he teaches a range of courses related to film directing, theory, and practice.

In addition to his academic work, he is actively involved in the production of television programs and documentary films. He is also engaged in music creation and photography.

As part of his professional practice, he participates in projects and conferences in the fields of media and contemporary artistic production.
