HOPE is an interactive video installation, inspired by a mural painting inside the UN Security Council conference hall, painted in 1950 by the Norwegian artist Per Krogh.
HOPE is in development for the exhibition UN REVISITED at Kunstraum Kreuzberg / Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin in 2012. Artists and theorists from five continents are invited to present their views on the role of the United Nations in the 21st century. A first module was realized in Jan. 2011 with students of Silpakorn University in Bangkok, a second one is preparation with young unemployed people in Berlin, a third one i would like to realize in a 3 day workshop in Novi Sad! Presentation of it at the Festival.
The installation HOPE will be produced while several workshops with young people, in in Asia, Africa, Southamerica, and Europe.
