Alba Capilla

Born in Valencia (Spain) in 1991. She studied Media at the UV (Valencia), and obtained a master in Animation at the UPV. She has worked as an illustrator for children’s books and as a graphic designer for a production company of corporate videos. ‘Mechanical’ is her first animation short film.

Torniquete lives in a mechanical world and works repairing robots. Day after day, he watches helplessly how his colleagues die when the hourglasses that they have incorporated emptied. His boring existence will change when he meets Arandela.
