Filip Markovinović

Filip Markovinović was born in 1976 in Sombor. He has been living and working in Novi Sad since 1987. He graduated from the high school “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj”, natural sciences and mathematics in 1990, and then studied multimedia directing at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in 1996, in the class of Professor Boro Drašković. He graduated in 2003 with the short feature film “Zvezdan, episode: Student” and the theatre play “Hunting Cockroaches” based on the text by Janusz Glovacki.

So far, he has directed 17 theater plays, 5 short feature films, as well as more than 100 documentaries, television shows, commercials, music videos, etc.

He was employed at the Radio Television of Vojvodina, in the Video Production of Radio 021. Co-founder of the Independent film center Cinema Club Novi Sad (and its president in the period 2005-2013). Founder and selector of the short film festival “Film Front”, and the festival of experimental film and music video “Experimental Superstars”.

Associate of MMC Led art since 2005, member of the Forest Patrol – Novi Sad branch.

Since 2011, he and his wife Natasha have been founding and leading Mafin production of audio-visual products.
