Ellen Wetmore’s work focuses on lived experience blended with well-honed paranoia. Her projects have been featured in screenings at the Sandwell Arts Trust, Ciné Lumière, She is a 2012 School of the Museum of Fine Arts Traveling Fellow and a Visiting Artist at the American Academy of Rome.

Does anyone think those frescoes move, a little bit, when we are not looking? Grotesques began as an exploration of the small horrors of traditional fairy tales.
