Seoungho Cho

Seoungho Cho was born in 1959 in Pusan, South Korea, and currently lives and works in New York. He received a BA and an MA in graphic arts from Hong-Ik University, Korea, and an MA in video art from New York University.

Cho’s internal visions and his perception of the outer world come together in an abstract meditation on space, place and sound. Natural landscapes are pushed to the edge of abstraction. Mountains, rocks, shadows, water: everything flows, is in motion. Latency Contemplation 3 is a choreography of horizontal lines, drifting on the vertical.
