Ivana Sremčević Matijević is a professional engineer with a degree in graphic engineering, design and applied photography. With over thirty years of experience in the fields of new media art and cultural management, she has established herself as a producer, researcher, curator and artist.

Throughout her career, Ivana has explored a variety of mediums including interactive installations, video, directing, photography, graphic and web design, and extended media. Passion for the intersection of art and commerce has led her to develop and publish numerous projects and works in both fields. In addition to creative work, Ivana has curated, produced, and delivered large-scale exhibitions, festivals, presentations, and internet projects.

Since 2001, is on the esteemed position of Director of the Videomedeja Video Art Association and the International New Media Art Festival Videomedeja. She is also a member of the Videomedeja art board and selection committee.

Prior to her work in new media art and cultural management, worked as a journalist and television director for independent and public broadcast television networks and stations. Furthermore, was a mentor for numerous creative workshops for children, sharing her expertise and passion for the arts with the next generation of aspiring artists.
